Hi!Okay so, I wanted to have some fresh discussion on Dammek.I just genuinely enjoy hearing people’s opinions about him specifically(Also before I start, I want to apologize ahead of time for any errors I make! It’s been a while since I watched a play through of Act 1)The first thing I wanted to talk about is the idea that “Dammek isn’t a lowblood and he is hiding his blood color.” I know a lot of people have talked about this theory so I’ll try to be quick about it;;;;Now, I’ve seen quite a few people say that there is no indication that he’s ACTUALLY a bronze blood because1. His sunglasses mask his eye color2. He hasn’t been shown to bleed or cry- in short there is not a dead giveaway about his blood other than what Xefros has saidThere are also several other factors that could make this theory plausible1. His Lusus is inclined to take care of orphaned trolls/wrigglers if their wriggler dies early on2.

He owns circular disks, not hexagonal ones3. The amount of guns he hasSince Mallek’s appearance in the newest Friendsim, Dammek owning circular disks and hoards of guns isn’t that unlikely anymore. Now I won’t go too into detail about this since ( will explain it for you;; probably better than I ever will hahaAfter reading that post, I am inclined to believe that maybe he has worked with Mallek beforebut I can’t be quite sure since well.

We don’t know much about how Dammek REALLY is other than Xefros’s hearsay.(I can see either theory working honestly; I just don’t know which one I believe more, ya know?)The second topic of discussion is Dammek’s personality.I’ve heard A LOT of different opinions and ideas about this.Some have concluded that he’s completely abusive towards Xefros, just overall taking advantage of how loyal Xefros is towards himI don’t see many people standing by Dammek’s side:0Personally, I don’t hate Dammek. I just really can’t. I don’t know the guy. I feel like judging him based on whatever Xefros says isn’t. Right?I’ll save my opinions on the dude for when he shows up later in the game.For now, I’ve just concluded that their moirailship isn’t completely healthy.The idea of Dammek purely using Xefros rubs me wrong. Now I admit that I do get some sort of “manipulative” vibe from Dammek based on Xefros’s hearsay, but I still genuinely feel like they both care for each other.Obviously Xefros cares about Dammek;;; there’s no question about that.On Demmek’s side though.

It’s not completely clear to some people:0There are just a couple of things I think that prove that he cares about his burgundy moirail (at least to some extent)1. He kept the birthday cake Xefros made him2. He has pictures of him and Xefros around his house3. He took the time to make a specialized microphone for XefrosI see these as truly friendly interactions. If Dammek was just using Xefros then I don’t think he’d go out of his way to keep/create things for his moirail.Now;;; I do believe that it’s possible that Dammek doesn’t treat Xefros in a completely great manner. Maybe he doesn’t quite see the harm he may bring to Xefros?There are many possibilities honestly.So like I said earlier I’m trying to save most judgement I have until I see him interact with other characters.I do believe that Dammek has some sort of paranoia going on.

Honestly is reasonable. He’s one of the 4(?) Tetrarchs of the rebellion. He’s got a reason to be a bit suspicious of the trolls around him.I can understand him having video cameras everywhere around his hive.

As for as the one located at Xefros’s hive, eh. That’s definitely something that would be weird IRL. I like to believe that Dammek isn’t being creepy and watching Xefros’s every movement, maybe he’s just watching to make sure no one ambushes Xefros’s House? Maybe.??Dammek also having plenty of aliases makes sense since. Of course as a member of a rebellion he’s going to want to keep his identity safe for the time being.Just a side note;;;I’ve seen a couple of people on the web say that Dammek making Xefros sleep on the floor was an asshole move.Contrary to this belief, I think it’s a good thing he did influence Xefros to do this.It’s better for them both to get used to sleeping this way and getting a head start to enduring the chucklevoodoo. I honestly believe that Dammek had probably assumed that they’d be forced out of their hives at some point so.Sorry for this being quite long;;;I just wanted to spark some newer discussion on this!It’s always good to talk about some old ideas after a while:)Also sorry if my points aren’t completely STRONG.
