Dead Rising 4 Frank Rising
Dead Rising 4 was released at the end of last year and while the game might have faced some mixed opinions, I with it. Once I heard about the release date for the DLC, I was stocked to see what Capcom has planned for it. It was only once I played it that I realized what a mess it was, and honestly reflecting back, it also kind of destroys the ending set up nicely in Dead Rising 4.If you haven’t finished Dead Rising 4, this review might contain spoilers for the ending of the game. Now that is out of the way, lets talk about what went wrong with this DLC.
On paper, the idea of controlling a zombie Frank sounds interesting, however it is the execution that leaves a lot to be desired. The DLC opens up directly after the end of the game where Frank hangs onto his dear life on a chopper only to fall to a horde of flesh eating zombies. The DLC takes place directly after the death of Frank and his reincarnation as a Zombie.While this might sound exciting, the DLC doesn’t really offer a lot in term of story and there is no logic behind how Frank manages to survive everything when dozens others have all died. While it is established that Frank is being saved and experimented on by a doctor, it is never clearly laid out how he manages to survive.
Basically it feels like Capcom thought it was a cool idea to strip the weapons and vehicles and instead of focus on a melee combat featuring a Zombie. The thing that doesn’t work here is how it is all implemented.Dead Rising 4 is most fun when it gives the player its crazy weapons and wacky customized vehicles to kill a huge assortment of zombies, so when it is taken away, there is not really a lot left to do. Frank acts like a regular zombie with slightly faster agility that can slash humans, eat them to refill health and perform a few special movies like burping out acid or letting out a loud roar.
Parents need to know that Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package is the remastered and definitive edition of the open-world survival horror game.Violence is a core part of the game mechanic, with players creating makeshift weapons to charge into massive hordes of the undead and leave bloody carnage in their wake.
These add little to the gameplay and honestly speaking, even the controls for them feel like a letdown and end up being a chore. There is no redeeming quality about controlling a zombie Frank.Majority of the DLC basically takes place in the same rehashed map and locations that you have visited in the main game, however the activities are all stripped out and there is not much to do. Capcom has tried to spice things up a little by adding collectibles and side missions here and there but there is no redeeming factor for them. While you can enhance the zombie abilities of Frank by getting ‘wasps’ that enhance his power, the main story is rather linear and doesn’t last long.If you play Frank Rising on the normal difficulty and attempt the main story, you can finish it within an hour. Perhaps if I am being generous, it can last a little over an hour. Even in the DLC itself, there is a timer that counts down to government bombing the city which means you won’t have the freedom to explore every location.
Dead Zed 4 an upcoming addition to the Dead Zed shooter game series. It is a fast paced survival based shooter game where the player must defend their base from the on-coming hordes of zombies. Each level has a varying number of zombies of different speeds and each one moves continuously towards the base; if they reach the base they deal damage to it and the game is lost when the zombies get. Dead Zed is the first game in the online zombie game series called Dead Zed 1; the zombie game is an online game and one of the few fun shooting games that can be played for free online. The plot of Dead Zed is simple; the player wakes up in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and in 40 days help will arrive to save the players. 
The issue here is that zombie Frank isn’t simply fun to play so the timer adds nothing to the game here.It is disappointing as a long time fan of the series to play this DLC and considering it is priced at $9.99, I don’t see any reason to recommend it. In term of replay value, you can pick up higher difficulty settings but they are simply frustrating thanks to the clunky nature of zombie Frank.
Dead Rising 4 didn't sit well with a few series fans - and one particular bugbear was the more action-y new look for franchise star Frank West.Well, in the latest update to the game, you can fix that.' Classic' Frank West will be playable as part of Capcom Heroes Mode, a new mode which will let you play through the game's campaign as one of many older Capcom faces.Dante from Devil May Cry, Cammy from Street Fighter, X from Mega Man X and Sissel from Ghost Trick are all available as costume choices. Each grants a special ability for use, too.Capcom Heroes will arrive as a free download on 5th December for all existing Dead Rising 4 players.
