All researches at lvl 50 means you are not even half through the R16 researches wich means it is obvious that you can't use them yet to get gems. Wich means: Get the researches up to 136 and unlock them all. And usually guides want about 100DVg-1TVg gems to start it.And your current build, Diamond Forge, is not able to reach these gem counts. Moonshine would be able to do it, but an important parrt of Moonshine is the Elf Challenge spell upgrade, wich you don't own since it is only available at R18+, so don't even try to use it.The best build for this point is Lightning Forge, wich is more or less the same build wich you are already using, just with Lightning Strike instead of Diamond Pickaxe. So pls just use Lightning Strike for now.

Obviously you want to wait until LS hits the blacksmiths before you abdicate since you only get gems when it hits them.And after a few LF runs you probably reached the Research range wich means then you easily can just follow the R16 guide.
